The girl that gave me and my son the facility tour summarized the lease to us super fast and told us we should sign the lease now as opposed to later while they were not as busy. We paid the deposit and returned a week later to move in and were denied because my son only had the first have of his financial aid disbursement.
They said unless we had the full amount of the lease, he could not move in and forfeited our deposit so my son had to find somewhere else to live. They sued us over 3 years later for three times the lease amount ($16,000!) and got the judgment! We tried talking to the manager (Stephanie) but she refuses or calls or says she is in a meeting if we show up!
We will be picketing outside the Regency this Fall starting in August! All those who have been mistreated by The Regency feel free to join us!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $16750.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: Misleading and unhelpful.
